The Journey Begins

I thought I’d start my blog with a poem. I was thinking about how we encounter change, and the way our attitude towards it can effect our experience of it. I was feeling frustrated by the many new platforms, signs ups, log ins, etc., and wishing for that speedy interaction that comes from familiarity. But then I took a deep breath, and tried to enjoy the process of navigating new territory, and how it might inform the way I navigate other spaces.

Nothing Gold Can Stay

Robert Frost1874 – 1963

Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
