I thought I’d start my blog with a poem. I was thinking about how we encounter change, and the way our attitude towards it can effect our experience of it. I was feeling frustrated by the many new platforms, signs ups, log ins, etc., and wishing for that speedy interaction that comes from familiarity. But then I took a deep breath, and tried to enjoy the process of navigating new territory, and how it might inform the way I navigate other spaces.
Nothing Gold Can Stay
Nature’s first green is gold, Her hardest hue to hold. Her early leaf’s a flower; But only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf. So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day. Nothing gold can stay.
